Opening of a new exhibition in the Museum of Farming Machinery in Čáslav
Premiere type: Monuments and history. We recommend for: Holidays with children, Holidays for young people.
Announced: October 2008
The National Museum of Agriculture Prague is preparing a new exhibition at its Čáslav affiliate for spring 2009 on “Hard work for machines? Hard work for machines!”
The Čáslav branch of the National Museum of Agriculture focuses on the history of farming machinery. In the new exhibition presently under preparation, the emphasis is on the role of farming machines as aids in the far from easy work of farmers, whose use of mechanisation makes the work significantly easier.
At the centre of the exhibition will be the exhibits from the rich collections of the museum, panels with supporting text and various interactive elements. As part of the project, visitors will be able to view the exhibition from the hall’s high galleries and to enter the lookout tower, which will form part of the building.
