Reconstruction of the Balcarka Cave
After two years of reconstruction, July 2009 will see the opening of the Balcarka cave in the Moravian Karst, with the richest display of stalactites in all of the five publicly accessible karst caves. Balcarka Cave has been open to the public since 1926.
Famed sweet-shop Myšák open again

New exhibition of Baroque art in the Kinský chateau in Žďár nad Sázavou
As of May 2009 a new permanent exhibition will open at the chateau in Žďár nad Sázavou entitled The Art of the Baroque, with exhibits taken from the collections of the National Gallery in Prague. Visitors will be able to view up to eight hundred works by leading painters and sculptors of the Baroque era.

Rejdice Sports Complex creates a new snow park
